# Showcase room

## A city that shows what is happening in its data.

The demonstration city combines controllable lighting, utility meters, and bridge, river, air-quality and cyclist sensors. Live readings and lighting events appear in Nexavia.

## A marina and a camp that know what is happening on every berth and pitch.

Every service pedestal on the piers meters power and water per berth, recognises the guest by their NFC card and knows whether the boat is on its berth – and all of it goes on the bill at departure without a manual reading. In the camp, the reception switches a pitch or a mobile home on at check-in, pre-cooling it, and sends the final reading to billing at check-out. The hotel pool, the restaurant, the car parks, the EV chargers and the greenery serve both, while sea, weather and safety sensors protect people, boats and the electricity on the piers.

## A plant and a store that know what is happening under their roofs.

Both buildings are shown in section. In the manufacturing plant the readings follow electricity, compressed air, gas and water from the yard to every line, and the machines report their state, pieces and vibration – from which Nexavia works out OEE and energy per piece, and KAI predicts a failure before it stops the line. In the supermarket, sensors guard the cold chain from the refrigeration plant to every chiller, and count shoppers, the queue at the checkouts and the free parking bays. When a reading drifts, Nexavia raises an alarm, notifies the people responsible and keeps the HACCP record.

## A datacenter that knows every rack and every drop.

The building is shown in a stepped section, so every level reads as a floor plan and a side view at once. The readings follow the electricity from the transformer through the UPS and the row's power panel to each rack's PDU, and the cooling water from the racks out to the towers; a leak-sensing cable, a smoke detector and door contacts watch every level. From these Nexavia works out PUE, WUE and capacity in use, and KAI predicts a failure before it happens.
